Well some idiot decided to hit our car in the parking lot and the person got away with it as no one was at the scene.

Here are some images of the damage

What is the estimate in damages?

My father earlier today went to Tao's Autobody Repair (Not certified in anyway comes to think of it) and he quoted $500 for all repairs including a replacement corner turn signal lamp (which i THINK its not OEM) I personally think that the quote for this repair is way too low as i'm thinking it would be maybe $750 or more for this repair AT LEAST.

Do any of you know a reliable body shop which also can repair at around average or lower prices but still offering quality in Vancouver BC Canada?

Thanks,
Tim

i dont have any clue of the price but maybe try cleaning it up as best as possible and such just so they dont overcharge you just based on looks and trying to play you off of them

That is as clean as i can get it.

Most of the scratches are really deep and the paint on the fender where the accident happened is peeling/flaking off at the edge of it.

Thanks for your reply though xet.

So can anyone estimate the damage of repairs for this (including Corner Signal Light)?

And can someone recommend a good auto body shop that is located in Vancouver BC (preferably around East Vancouver/Marine Drive)

Thanks,
Tim
Well we got our vehicle back.

First off, the paint job is better than what they'd done on our rear panel (we should actually take it back to refinish it anyways).

Now to the CONS

I'm guessing he doesn't know how to apply body filler since its kinda scratchy in the paint, also at the edge of the fender its not rounded like its suppose to. There is also some ripples at the end of the fender (he painted the whole fender). And some wierd metallic scratches in some places.

The bumper, you see scratches where he applied body filler, you see where he applied body filler to one particular spot but overall at the other end of the bumper, its fine.

And the car itself, he made a mess with the body filler by putting his hand on the hood, headlights, just everything and even the leather interior!!!

Well, i'm going to try to convince my parents to take the vehicle back to the shop because of the HORRIBLE job...

I guess $500 is what you pay for.

Tim
I had a parking lot collision recently and had my rear bumper fixed. They charged about US$450 to take the bumper off, repair, and paint. I did not have any damage on the fender. Labor rates will vary by locale though.
Tim - so what ended up happening?

I had my front bumper painted their the other week and I now have overspray all over the front end of the car... not to mention the filler hand marks you mentioned! HELP!?
