Having its debut at this year?s Dubai Motor Show, the Unimog U500 Black Edition should please Golf Region customers.
Compared to a regular U500, exterior and interior have been completly reworked:
The bumpers are new as is the pick-up bed with the side skirts.
The interior is clad in real carbon fiber, Brabus Mastik leather and velours.
It?s powered by a 6.4l diesel with 280hp and 1100Nm (811lb-ft), it?s GVW is 12 tons with a payload of 4.3 tons.
It rolls on 455 / 70 R 24 tires, and should offer superb offroad capabilites with portal axles, which and a driver controlled tire pressure system.
The Black Edition is 230000? before taxes, 90k more than a regular U500.
