An absolutely glowing review for the 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe!

I think there is still a market for gas guzzlers. There is going to be one for some time IMO.
Americans have money and they don't mind spending it on things they like. No doubt the sales might not be as high as they used to be, but this can sell well. ---------

People still have boats, and trailers to tow, there will always be a need for them. ---------

Obselete?? Definitely not. Perhaps large SUVs may not be as favorable as they once were, but they certainly aren't obselete.

As long as Americans still have people to haul, trailers to tow, and need 4WD, there will be SUVs. --------- Are you a SUV owner WJW.

Current ride: 1992 Chevrolet Lumina, the heartbeat of america.

Future ride: Audi R8 or RS6 --------- I will say that it seems to be an overall pleasing package. All coil suspension and rack-and-pinion steering are nice upgrades; ones that will be felt by the general public. In reviewing the latest Tahoe article in C%26D, it's still not any faster than the previous generation and now weighs almost 6,000 lbs.

I don't believe GM will lose any ground in terms of market share. The only question for all auto makers is, How sustainable is the large SUV market? --------- If they were that excited over the interior,I wonder how they'll react to the Escalade. --------- The Car Connection's reviews are always favorable. The fact that the C/D review was so positive means much more.

Not that this means nothing, of course. Their review of the Corvette Z06 wasn't even this positive.

Here's the link.

Holy cow . . . that's the most positive review I've read for a GM vehicle in a very, very long time.

I want one! --------- The review in this months C%26D was pretty favorable as well. The interior does look fantastic.

I wonder if the era of big SUVs is over, though. As good as this SUV is, it may be obsolete in the fuel-efficiency-aware marketplace.
