At least they kept the solid front and rear axles, that can be identified in this picture of the 4 door, by the axle lower control arms in the front and rear. http://www.mph-online.com/web/spyphotos/0030 Considering the 0-2 record of the previous introductions/updates (liberty, GC) since the Teutonic takeover, this is a major coup. ---------
If it aint broke don't fix it. Sure they didn't change much, but thats better than making big changes in the name of comfort/practicality which ruin its heritage. What is the -J designation for this one? ---------

Yes, but why bother with the redesign if the changes are so inconsequential? That's what I was getting at. The TJ wasn't broke, but they decided to make a new one anyway.
