hi guys , my car runs at a tad bit obove half way on the temp gauge and around town it runs between half and three quater as far as i been told thats to high and i would like it to stay half way all the time its been like this since i have had the car and i just had a new water pump put in but it still runs as i stated so the water pump isnt the issue is thanks

ok so this car is a pyle of shit but besides that i drained the radiater from the drain plug tightend it back up took off the resivior cap and the bleeder screw filled the tank with antifreez started the car and let it get as hot as the car could possobly get even to thpionnt were it would be overheeting and the f*%(king fluid never sucked in the radiater i treid it like 10 millin times and all that happens is the car overheets i would love to no how you get the antio freez in to the radiator

Yeah it could be the t-stat. Before you go and buy one try boiling it in water first to see if it opens up. If it does then it is still good!
