for some reason my hvac lighting, its the manual controls, goes out from time to time, last ngiht for instance, i was driving around, the lighting was out, and i switched the blower power from 4 to 3 and when i did, the light came on, but then it stayed on regardless of what i did, i tried hitting it, turning the car on and off, basically i cant find a commoon thread to what makes it turn on and off. ive read that its all powered by one light bulb, any chance the lightbulb is kinda loose or something? any other possibilities? thanks!

go ahead, take it out, open it up. we are here to help you, btw I dunno how many bulbs there are, but sounds like a loose connection

If those lights are anything like the ones that are on the OBC, then it could be loose, as was suggested. When I popped out my OBC, the light for the clock went out, and kept flickering when I tried to put it back in place. Took me a few tries to get it in while it was still on :)

Should be pretty easy to get too, no tools required if its like the digital control (don't see why it wouldnt be). Let me know if you need instructions for removing it, or do a search for the digital climate control fix.
