hows it going ppl i have few problems that i would like to fix ok first
1 i loose coolent every week or so car runs between the 1/2 mark and 3/4 on the temp gauge witch seems to be correct i belive i see coolent when i look under the car dripping off the middle of the block onto the middle of the sway bar then onto the ground but see nothing from when i look under the hood.
2 my passenger window is up and does not go down when i press the switch i here a clicking sound in the passenger door like a relay (car is 2 door)thank good its stuck up tho.
3 my passenger door does not open from the outside handle how ever it does open from the inside but you have to pull the inside handle with more force then you should for it to open

You have to find exactly where your coolant is dripping from, it could be a lot of things. Running over 1/2 on the temp guage is not a good sign.

Both your other problems probably are related. Take your door apart and see whats going on in there. Sounds like things are disconnected and/or jammed up inside the door. Do a search on here and you will find lots of info on how to take your interior door panel off to get at the insides.

1) You can get a window motor at bimmerparts.com for about $155 (at least for my M3 - should be the same motor). A couple of cautions: there is no sense in getting a used one as any old one is likely to go bad pretty soon. Also, you have to remove your regulator to get the motor out. That involves drilling out rivets and replacing with bolts. Not difficult, but an involved PITA.

2) If it is the waterpump that is leaking, it should be running down the front of the engine. If you still have the plastic thermostat housing above the pump, look to see if it is leaking - a common problem.

thanx for the advice i had the water pump done and that is all fixed now but i have my window motor problem still and my door only opens from the inside and not from the out side
