Allright, I know it sounds redundant but someone please help me. First of all, I have a 11/91 production date on my 325i. I want to upgrade my suspension, just the springs and shocks. I know that there is a problem with the '92 model e36 about the it having different springs/shocks variations. Someone please clear this up for me. I basically want to know why or what is causing the problem. Is it possible to put a post 2/92 spring on a 11/91 springs mounts? (Questions like this) PLease help.

6/92 was the change over date for '92 325 springs. Any spring designed for pre-6/92 325s will fit your 11/91 build date 325. BUMP What about springs that were made post 6/92? I guess those won't fit my 11/92 springs right? And if not, what do I need to do? Should I go ahead and buy new springs or are there mounts that I could get? Post-6/92 springs will NOT fit pre-6/92 struts. Bump. What would I need then in order to have it to fit? Or is it not possible at all. Would I need new mounts or something. Please help. You need new everything, struts, strut bearing, upper spring plates, etc. |
