Are the rotors on BMW's serviceable? I need to get new brakes and want to have the rotors turned as well. But, I've had a few people tell me they're non-serviceable(cant be turned). So, can they or cant they be turned?

My understanding is that the minimum thickness is so close to the original thickness, by the time they need to be turned, there isn't enough material there.

Just replace them. They are pretty cheap if you buy them online.

OEM rotors are around $70 and can be swapped DIY.

Ok. I guess since I have to replace them then. I'll just have to upgrade the rotors while Im upgrading the brakes.
