i recently bought a 1998 ///M3 and I was wondering what sorts of tune up or maintenance things i should do...should i be changing the spark plugs? what sorts of things should i be checking so i can have it back to tip top shape like brand new?

You may want to perform an Inspection II if it has not been done recently by the owner.

Definitley do an Inspection II. This hits mostly everything. My advice is to do as much as you can, then take it to an independent for the stuff you don't feel comforatable doing.
