Home-situation: Radiator hose pops off.

situation: Radiator hose pops off.

Okay,
Say your upper radiator hose pops off the radiator and sprays coolant on your ITG foam air filter... And then say coolant made it past the filter into the intake tube to the HFM and beyond. What do you do?

I cleaned and recharged the filter with no toil.
Took off most of the intake up to the throttle body and wiped it out.

Seeing as most of the liquid was coolant and not water should i be okay?

How could i clean the HFM film? Is there some kind of spray cleaner that wont hurt when sprayed through the HFM to get rid of residue?

As far at MAF goes you could remove the sensor from the housing and use rubbing alcohol to clean it. The trick is to make sure it's dry, VERY dry like let it over night dry before plugging it back in. It uses a heated element to calculate air flow so it needs to be very dry of alcohol or it'll get ruinied.

In terms of sucking in coolant, you should be OK. Your biggest concern is gonna be hydrolock, but chance are you're ok.
