my strut bar is hitting my MAF thingy ** PICS **

ok when i installed my strut bar from my wrecked car... i found that my 94 was a lil different...


basicly my strut bar kinda touches that lil wire socket thingy up there so i was wondering does the strut bar move much? like is it gona apply a bunch of pressure and break that thing its touching when i make a hard corner?

yes it will apply ALOT pressure, i wouldnt use it if i was you..... just my opinion though lets see what others have to say.

I agree with Aurash. It will flex and that is definitely not a part you want to risk breaking.

It does not appear to me that the bar is hitting the MAF. It does look like its hitting what appears to be the traction control throttle sensor. Most strut bars do not fit cars with traction control. Therefore you will need to remove one or the other.

PS. Resize your pictures so that ther are not quite so large.

Yea there are a few strut bars specifically made to fit over those modules - the rest should not be used in your car.

remove ur strut bar immediately.....does not worth damaging ur traction control...:b_blue:

ok... my machine shop mechanic is going to bend the bar for me...
