I have a 94 325is and last night my speedometer stopped moving...also the odometer under it is tuck at 110,000 miles and doesn't move. Also athe obc displays for fuel consumtion, speed all are zero. Everything else works fine what could it be???

My 325e is not working again. It was repaired by a speedo shop. for 100 bucks. I was told the circuit board needed some solder repair. This time I'm going to replace the cluster from a junker but haven't had time yet.

It's probally the speed sensor in your diff.

anyone know the part number??

i had the same problem too awhile back ago...but mine was intermittent (sp?)

turned out that the plug on the speed sensor on the Diff. was filled with dirt... i guess i drove over some dirt.

just a suggestion.

I got a brand new one that I was going to replace mine with but did not need. Still forsale. Will fit any e36 diff. $20 shipped.

Hung, how did you clean it? My speedo was going on the fritz everytime it rained erratic up and down moving. Last week it just stopped working
