Ate power disk any good

I had one set that "warped" in less than 10,000 miles. haven't used them since. thats strange, i have a set in the front for the last 22K miles, harldy a lip on the rotor. no warping issues for me. I only had the one set, so I my opinions are only based on that. I put a pair on up front about a week ago - so far, so good. I got them from Eurasian (http://www.eap4parts.com) for about $43 each. Ate powerdisks are a good cost effective upgrade. They are manufactured by ATE which is the OEM manufacturer for all BMW brake and the quality quite good. I have owned 2 sets on previous cars and was satisfied with the performance. They lasted a very long time without warping, and the eliptical groove does reduce fading. Remember to get good brake pads. Thanks for the help guys and thanks for heads up on euroasian |
